About Hydlide
My real name is Edwin van der Heide, born on 12 october 1974 in Brampton Canada. Living in the Netherlands since 1978. My main activities are: computer coding, web design and making music.
I started coding in Z80 Assembler, learned how to push and pop from the stack on the age of 14. With having tons of experience on the coding field, I learned a wide range of coding platforms ranging from Asm, C#, C++, Pascal, Clipper, Visual Foxpro and Visual Objects.
With having knowledge about php and mysql databases, I started to learn skills about creating websites and making unique CMS (content management systems) of my own. The complete project of thesoundofreason.net would be one of the end results on how the whole CMS was developed.
Making music has been more or less an hobby of mine. Even while I started to make professional music in the year 1998, I started to make it more of an hobby of mine from 1999 till now. Most of the music projects that I have been doing were done in modplug tracker or Propellerhead Reason. Because I liked the hobby of making music, I started to work on a tutorial site to give support to those people who need help with making music within propellerhead Reason.
